Allana Ferguson bio
Allana competed with Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to miss several seasons before switching to the Rugby League. Allana made her debut as a woman in the rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana has added radio to her roster, and makes frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana is also a teacher diploma. Allana Ferguson is the only Australia player to represent Australia in both rugby sevens and in rugby league as well as touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos football player who was in an extensive period of rugby league was forced to close her playing career before the age of 25 after she tore her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears to the same ligament when she was 15, 17 and 20, when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated she was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS's playmaker was forced to quit early because of a fourth injury to the left ACL. Ferguson was injured in her ACL last November while in training. This week she announced the information in an interview with The Courier Mail.
